DrDispatch SMS Consent

DrDispatch is a transportation management system (TMS) used by trucking carriers and freight brokers to manage load assignments, dispatch operations, and driver communications.

Who Sends These Messages

SMS notifications are sent by DrDispatch to drivers who are registered on the platform. Messages are operational in nature and relate directly to the driver’s assigned loads and dispatch activity.

What Drivers Receive

Drivers may receive SMS notifications for the following:

  • New load assignments
  • Load status updates and changes
  • Pickup and delivery reminders
  • Dispatcher messages requiring action
  • Authenticated links to the DrDispatch driver portal
  • General dispatch communications

How Consent Is Collected

When a driver is added to the DrDispatch platform, the driver setup screen includes a Cell Phone field with the following consent disclosure:

“By providing this phone number, you consent to receive SMS dispatch notifications from DrDispatch including load assignments, status updates, and driver portal links. Msg frequency varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.”

An employer confirmation checkbox must be completed before the driver record can be saved. No messages are sent until consent is confirmed. If the Cell Phone number is changed, consent is cleared and must be re-confirmed before messages resume. Consent state and timestamp are recorded on the driver record.

How to Opt Out

Drivers may opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message received. No further messages will be sent following an opt-out request. To re-enable notifications, drivers may reply START or contact their dispatcher. Reply HELP at any time for assistance.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on dispatch activity and load volume. Msg&data rates may apply. Drivers will only receive messages relevant to their assigned loads and operational status. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
